Educational Philosophy

My educational vision is using enduring ideas -such as human, nature and conflict- as the core of creating an experience for my students. Adding aspects of a variety of cultures to my curriculum, can enrich students' learning experiences. Taking in reflections from students towards more understanding of art and intentions behind them. Creating robust discussions using prompts and open-ended questions to revitalize the conversation. Encouraging students to engage constructively to learn to think critically. Accommodating and modifying content according to the needs of my students and diverse abilities.

In my classroom, students will be enjoying a different sense of freedom with respect to my rules. I want them to have a voice and to learn how to express themselves while I maintain control. I will empower students with what they need to flourish as after all, this is an art class where their inner feelings and emotions should be expressed. This sense of freedom will empower them and give them a choice about their learning with accountability.
